Are you mindful of your manners?
Although few things worth pursuing are achievable or enjoyable on your own, in today’s fast-paced, digital and materialistic culture, it is becoming quite easy to neglect, ignore or dismiss the needs, rights and interests of other people.
And yet, despite the erosion of etiquette and sportsmanship in our daily lives, we are all more connected today than we have ever been.
In this truly global community and marketplace, the world’s greatest leaders are renewing their emphasis on the human element at work and at play.
These leaders realize there are significant premiums to be earned for great customer service and for truly people-centered business.
They know the greatest joy, health and long-term rewards are going to those who know how to appreciate and respect the people they live, play and work with.
They understand their life and career successes rise and fall in proportion to the strength of their personal and professional relationships.
It is not enough to have a great mind or a great business plan if you have bad manners.
Be sure to respect and serve someone cheerfully today. Mind your manners, please.
